Full job description
The Install Helper assists Lead Installers with residential HVAC system installations. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in HVAC while gaining hands-on experience in system installation and field operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Installers with installation of HVAC equipment and components.
- Carry tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
- Help remove old HVAC units and prepare installation areas.
- Assist with installing ductwork, insulation, and system components.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Learn HVAC installation techniques and best practices from senior technicians.
Qualifications
- 0–2 years experience in HVAC or construction preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in attics or crawl spaces.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
Pay: $23.11 – $26.83 per hour
